New Honda boss says ‘we are working tirelessly to achieve’ podiums in 2024
Honda’s new Team Manager Jose Manuel Escamez says the Japanese brand are working above and beyond to be competi🅰tive in WorldSBK.

Honda have struggled to be competitive in WorldSBK for several seasons, dating back to when 168澳洲5最新开奖结果:Alvaro Bautista and 168澳洲5最新开奖结果:Leon Haslam took over as rౠiders of the full factory Team ♛HRC line-up.
Honda, who are now heading in🔜to the new season for the third consecutive year with Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge, have developed a brand new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

- Axel Bassani ‘starting to feel good’ with Kaw❀asaki, ‘we’re slowly catching Alex Lowes’
But results in testing, along with comments 💯made by Lecuona after Portimao, have suggested the 2024 season could be another very tough one.
But Escamez, who replaces former rider Leon Camier as team 𝔍manager, is hoping his experience can be vital to Honda’s resurgence.
Formerly part of the MotoGP paddock, Escamez told WorldSBK.com: “I will strive to keep the team united and wo🎃rking together tꦇowards the same goal.
“I have held various positions within a team throughout my career, both on the mechanical side andꦦ in coordination roles.
“This has given me the opportunity to understand people and their feelings, so I want to ensure that everyone is able💮 to give their best for the team.”
With regard to the Japanese manufacturer’s goals in 2024, challenging for top five finishes is theirཧ aim.
WorldSBK has arguably never been stronger, and with BMW looking str🐽ong particularly in the hands of Toprak Razgatlioglu, Ducati, Yamaha and Kawasaki all showing𒈔 more potential in testing, achieving those types of results could be very challenging.
“The main challenge is to become competitive with the new bike as soon as possible”, added Escamez. “There are many updates across all are♚as of the machine, so we need to bring it all together and find a base setup that allows our riders to fully exploit the bike'sꩵ potential.
“The next challenge will be t🧸o consistently com♈pete for top-five positions and secure some podium finishes.
“We are aware that this is a significant challenge, considering the high lev🅰el of competition in the championship, but we are🎃 working tirelessly to achieve that goal.”
