The quickest time ofꦚ the weekend so far, it means Redding heads into qualifying having now set the pace in all three practice sessions aಌboard the Ducati Panigale V4 R.

His late effort was enough to unseat Michael van der Mark from the top spot as the Yamaha rider nonetheless underlined the performance of the new R1, while defending champion Jonathan Rea enjoyed a more 🐠positive start to the day aboard the Kawasaki ZX-10RR in third.

Ten Kate Yamaha’s Loris Baz maintained his place in the upper ec꧒helons of the leaderboard with the fourth best time, ahead of Alex Lowes, who showed a stronger turn of pace in FP3 than he has done in any other test or practice session this week.

Toprak Razgatlioglu was sixth fas♑test, with Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty lifting their BMWs into the top ten in seventh and ninth positions, sandwiching the Puccetti Kawasaki of Xavi Fores. Sandro Cortese on the Pedercini Kawasaki rounded out the top ten.

After a strong Friday showing, it was a disheartening start to the day for Honda after Leon Haslam suffered a crash at Turn 4. Though he returned to the track later on he was only 18th best, while Alvaro Bautista continues to look out of sorts down in 12th place.

Elsewhere, Leon Cami🦩er failed to set a time on the Barni Ducati.
