Garrett Gerloff has taken ꦅtop spot in a WorldSBK session for the first time thi൲s season after bettering pole sitter Scott Redding late on in warm-up at San Juan. 

It was Toprak Razgatlioglu who led the way following every r⛎ider’s opening lap, while Jonathan Rea and Redding sat second and third. 

Redding, who starts on pole for today’s Superpole race, then went quickest with a 1m 38s flat - two tenths better than Razgatlioglu’s second effort. There was an early crash for Orelac Kawasaki rider 🍨Isaac Vinales at turn 13. 

Razgatlioglu𝐆 then bettered Redding’s top time by just - 0.019s with six minutes to go, whil♛e Alex Lowes moved ahead of team-mate Rea for third. 

Razgatlioglu’s fouඣrth lap saw him break the 1m 38s barrier to move two♈ tenths clear of Redding. 

However, ꦇthe Ducati rider quickly responded by going another tenth aꦅnd a half quicker than Razgatlioglu. 

Rea managed to split Redding and Razgatlioglu late on, before a brilliant effort by Gerloff saw him go fast♒est overall.
