In a surp𝔉rising move, 2019 WorldSSP cha🦩mpion Randy Krummenacher had decided to part ways with CM Racing.

Having🌱 switched to the CM Racing team midway through the 2021 season, Krummenacher was scheduled to continue with the team into 2022.

However, the Swiss rider is instead looking for his third team in just𓃲 the last yea🌳r after previously starting the season with MV Agusta. 

The decision is certainly an odd one as CM Racing - previousl🔜y a Yamaha led team, have swapped to new 𓄧Ducati machinery for 2022, while also expanding their team from a one-rider line-up to two. 

Krummenacher was set to ride alongside former Moto3 rider Maximilian Kofler who𒀰 signed for the team earlier this week.

Team Principal, Alessio Cavalieri said: "As Team Principal of the CM Racing Team, I respec🎐t the decision taken by Krummenacher, to whom I wish the best for the continuation of his career. 

"For 2022, CM Rac🧸ing will move to Ducati machinery𓆏 with the V-Twin, with Austrian Maximilian Kofler in the team for his debut."

Ducati’s return to WorldSSP will be led by the full factory Aruba.it Ducati team and Nicolo Bulega, while son of former three-time WorldSBK champion Troy Bayliss, Oli Bayliss is part of the Barni Racing Ducati team.ꦍ 

It remains to be seen whether CM 💫Racing will go forward with just 🌸Kofler, or whether a replacement for Krummenacher will be announced.
