Brad Binder produced yet another impressive charge thꦛrough the field to claim sixth place at the British MotoGP. 

After starting 12th, the 🅠South African lost a further two places heading into turn one due to being affected by his inside starting p🎃osition.

With the inside grid slots at Silverstone pressed tight against the pit⛎ wall, it created a ‘hairpin’ type of entry line to the corner for Binder.

However, the KTM rider put that aside as the race went on and began to break into the top ten due to yet more stunning late rac💯e pace. 

Binder’s final overtake came with three lap🤪s to go as he got ahead of a struggling Joan Mir for sixth.

Speaking after the race, Binder said: "I was able to do a really quick lap in Q2 🐼but other than that it was difficult for us. We didn’t have it all our own way and it wasn’t very easy for us to be as consistently fast as some of the oಌther guys. 

"But you know, the team has been working so hard, we tried so many different things and the besꦉt bike I had all weekend was in the race. 

"So, hats off to the boy🔜s for doing such a great job yeah. In the race I didn’t get a great start. 12th place is right on the pit wall and it a𝄹lmost makes turn one like a hairpin, so I ended up just getting swamped into turn one. 

"I lost a few positions, but as the race went on and everyone’s tyres started to drop, I🐭 managed to keep my pace constant an🌊d could come back. 

"But yeah, unfortunately I lost too much time in the first half of the race. But on a weekend𝓰 like this to walk away with a sixth place, I can’t ask for much more and let’s see how we do in Aragon."
